redbrick mill 2

Up to date now. These were done last week (10th Jan 09), I stayed the whole day - the first 3 drawings were done in the morning session and the other 2 in the afternoon (just a reminder that the image closest to the text is always the first drawing of the session).

  3. I'm glad I could lead you to a good source! I've recently been doing some research about toxins in the home and how to change my lifestyle to eliminate them. A friend of mine directed me to that video because of the part about the fire retardants in mattresses, pillows, furniture, etc....scary!
Anyways, your work here is very lovely. Even though I never turned out any great work in figure drawing sessions, I did enjoy them quite a bit.

  4. I've just started life drawing after a few years away from it, I didn't like it when I did my degree as it was in the evenings and I was just too tired by then. Actually now enjoying the challenge but persevering this time and hope to see some signs of progress. Finding your blog interesting as I'm playing around with all kinds of things now including pastels and portraits. Will drop by again and see some more drawings soon!

  5. Hi La Boo. Thank you for following my Stalybridge blog - I have just started to do some more work on that this past week. Your figure drawings are so fresh and interesting. I think I like the twigs and ink ones the best so far. Did not realise you were in West Yorkshire! The number of painter bloggers in the UK is definitely growing.
